Discovery that produces artefacts
A domain model, a risk register and a costed roadmap — not a slide deck.
From a blank repository to a platform your business runs on.
Most software problems are not coding problems. They are decisions made early, under pressure, that nobody revisits. We start by making those decisions deliberately — domain model, boundaries, data ownership, release strategy — then build in short, visible increments so you are never more than two weeks away from something you can use.
Our engineers work in small cross-functional squads with a product designer and a delivery lead attached. You get one roadmap, one standup and one place to see progress. No hand-offs between an agency, a vendor and a QA firm.
And what we do differently so they do not.
A domain model, a risk register and a costed roadmap — not a slide deck.
Modular services, clear contracts and a test suite that lets you refactor without fear.
Working software in a staging environment every sprint, from sprint one.
Runbooks, ADRs, seeded environments and a paired transition with your team.
Yes — roughly a third of our work starts that way. We run a two-week audit first: dependency and security review, test-coverage baseline, architecture map and a prioritised remediation plan. You get that report whether or not you continue with us.
Discovery is fixed-price. Build phases are time-and-materials against a capped sprint budget, reviewed monthly. We do not quote a fixed price for a scope nobody has validated yet — that only moves the risk into change requests.
Bring us the messy version. We are more useful before the requirements document exists than after it has been signed off.
